TITLE: INTERIM FUNDRAISING MANAGER

REPORTING TO: CEO

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Fixed-term for 6 months

HOURS AND LOCATION: Open to full time or part time, hybrid between
home and office. Office is located in Smithfield, Dublin 7.

ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND

One in Four envisions a society where children are safe from sexual
harm. We work to end the trauma of child sexual abuse through our
psychotherapy and advocacy services. One in Four runs a wide range of
therapy programmes (individual, group, family, and prevention
treatment), and an increasingly busy advocacy service, providing vital
support during the criminal justice journey from initial reporting
through to trial. Since its establishment, the organisation has grown
significantly and meets with approximately *
clients every year.

We are seeking to recruit a Fundraising Manager for an interim period
of 6 months to manage the fundraising department during a period of
transition. This role is for someone with exceptional communication
and organisational skills as well as empathetic, dynamic, data driven
and a creative leader.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage One in Four’s fundraising portfolio and support systems,
with responsibility for leading and developing Individual Giving and
growing audiences.
* To set and achieve income targets across all fundraising
disciplines, in particular developing strategies to maximise
unrestricted income.
* Lead and manage the Fundraising Officer, providing support to
achieve high performance that delivers agreed outcomes.
* To work with relevant staff and other relevant external
organisations to maximise all opportunities.
* To tell the story of One in Four , inspiring new and existing
audiences.

FUNDRAISING OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

* Lead on the management and consistent reporting of accurate
fundraising budgets, forecasts, targets, KPI’s and projections.
* Lead on the management and development of the organisation’s
donor relationship management systems (CRM system and website).
* Ensure One in Four’s fundraising practices meet all governance
and regulatory requirements, and are in line with best practise,
ensuring appropriate systems and processes are in place.
* Ensure effective financial management through monitoring of income
and expenditure.
* Prepare reports for Board of Directors meetings and attend if
required.

COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING

* To support the Fundraising Officer to plan, market and deliver the
Community Fundraising initiatives.
* Ensure all fundraising and marketing initiatives are evaluated and
donors are supported and made feel central to the impact we are
making.

INDIVIDUAL GIVING

* To support the development and implementation of the bi-annual
newsletter and fundraising appeals.
* To support the development and implementation of a stewardship
programme.
* To engage with donors and tell the story of One in Four through
all communication channels to acquire new donors and build relations
with existing donors.

TRUSTS AND FOUNDATIONS

* Manage a portfolio of Trust and Foundation prospects and donors to
develop and maintain strong and long-standing partnerships.
* Conduct and co-ordinate detailed prospect research on Trusts and
Foundations.
* Together with the Policy & Operations Officer, apply for grants as
agreed.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

* Experienced and passionate people manager with a proven track
record of motivating and empowering people to reach their potential
and exceed goals
* Proactive growth mind set, embracing feedback and opportunities
* Knowledge of the Irish charity/voluntary sector market and the
environment in which One in Four Ireland operates
* A strategic mindset with the ability to meet targets, monitor
progress, and report on performance
* Ability to track financial expenditure against agreed budget.
* Extensive experience working with fundraising databases
* Demonstrates leadership with empathy, trust, positivity, and
ambition
